it's the end of week 2 and the beginning of week 3. can't wait for the end of week 10. it's been well, frankly, rather terrible. shoulder aches, eyes that refuse to open, body that refuses to be dragged out of bed and a mind that is degenerating. haha.. sounds pretty bad ya? haha.. it is just about to get worse. school is starting soon, about the same time as one of the major events. how to stay awake in lecture and tutorial? guess i'll be eating and drinking lots of processed and unhealthy stuff to stay awake. tsk tsk tsk..
went for a skipping event yesterday. skip 10 times and this particular organisation donates 1 bowl of rice to the needy. well, i skipped 401 times and that makes my donation amount to 40 bowls. hee hee. it is was fun. many people were impressed when it was our turn to skip. those in the rope skipping team could skip so well and so fast, everyone was surprised. the top skipper managed a whooping 904 turns in 10 minutes. amazing stuff..
sometimes it's disheartening to know that there are some educators out there that do not understand why there is a need for some to receive more help than others. sometimes it only takes one to feel a little more for others to make this world a better place. if educators are not able to feel for others, how then do they educate the young? are we all that narrow-minded? are we no better than just beings who only care and feel for ourselves, learning just how best to survive in this selfish world? isn't it sad? i have to say, i was disappointed. Yes, one can say that they are not aware of the extent of the suffering of others. but did they even bother to find out? did they open their eyes and their hearts to see and feel for them? there is more that can be done.
shall not dwell on this anymore. i have to get down to work. wanted to post some pictures. lazy...
