so Din,or rather Dean, went on to sign on and on 26 December 2007, he became a civil servant, serving the nation and as he proclaimed loudly on 28 May 2008, he will defend singapore with his life!
well, signing on is no big deal, but going to the SISPEC course and getting the Honour Graduate at the age of 26 when all the others still look pubescent is a big deal. standing out as the best amongst over 200 (i think) trainees is definitely an experience! like the chinese saying goes, the ginger is still best when aged. being the parade commander was just the icing on the cake.. Excellent stuff, Dean.. hee hee.. (although u will still be better known as Din to me, but then again, it's just a matter of change in vowels.)

it's the holidays and here i am slacking away.. yippee... must enjoy while i still can ya? the future looks bleak and filled with tasks that look daunting and oh so irritating at times...
la la la.. it's a beautiful day.. very hot outside but freezing cold inside the library.. it's amazing what aircon can do! :) brrrr...
