when lives are lost, swept away by currents, gone forever...
so young, with the future so bright, never coming back again...
reading the papers, looking at the photos, tears are about to fall right down...
the dragon boaters are so young, close to my age. i cannot imagine how painful it is for the family, for the loved ones. the loss must be great.. one day you know that he's around, the next he is gone.. it's so unexpected that it hurts, even though i do not know them. maybe we walked past each other before? maybe we took the same train before? maybe we drank the same kallang river water?
it's just painful. :( i hope the family and loved ones will be strong and be glad that they died doing something they realli like and that we fellow singaporeans care for them and are deeply saddened by their passing.

one funny thing was my sis sharing about her feelings. she was reading the papers in the toilet and she had tears in her eyes while doing business in there! haha.. funny...
