how to be happy?

when lives are lost, swept away by currents, gone forever...
so young, with the future so bright, never coming back again...
reading the papers, looking at the photos, tears are about to fall right down...

the dragon boaters are so young, close to my age. i cannot imagine how painful it is for the family, for the loved ones. the loss must be great.. one day you know that he's around, the next he is gone.. it's so unexpected that it hurts, even though i do not know them. maybe we walked past each other before? maybe we took the same train before? maybe we drank the same kallang river water?

it's just painful. :( i hope the family and loved ones will be strong and be glad that they died doing something they realli like and that we fellow singaporeans care for them and are deeply saddened by their passing.

take care my loved ones, be careful...love u all.. hugs...

one funny thing was my sis sharing about her feelings. she was reading the papers in the toilet and she had tears in her eyes while doing business in there! haha.. funny...

my table is so clean!

so is my room. ah hahaha... feel very proud of myself! haha... think i neva was so neat! woo hoo... think it was good to clear up. high time i cleared all the old old things! wow... haha.. happy like mad.. now have to do many things alreadi. owe many things need to get done.haiz. owe until i dunno wat i need to do. haha... do pardon me. breathe in too much dust the past 3 days. madness... heee... hmmm.. more clearing to do. but now happy tat i have place to put my things..

wakeboard photos

went wakeboard on deepavali... it was nice... could feel more at ease on water.no fear! woo hoo...
herna's good, just had not enough muscle. Mas did well on her first attempt. Yang did well on his second attempt! clever boy! hee hee.. :) enjoy the photos...

i finally made it

to the end of the year.. yippeee... three cheers for myself, hip hip hooray (x 3).
collected two prizes at the prize giving.. it was kind of weird. hee.. the emcees were not too good. the planning for the event was not too good. must do action research.
my dear bought something cute for the car. nice.. hee... two cute little bugs.. :)

my little nephew saying hi! he's looking all cute.. :) took many many photos of him.. at every chance tat i got. he's a little shy with me..hee.. i dun see him often.. but tat's ok.. we are going to spend lots of time together at bangkok.. yippeeeee...

i packed my room today... took all my bears to wash.. all dusty.. pls dun complain to spca... just wan them to be dry and all nice.. heee..


going to clean my office table. haiz. sure can find many things tat i dun need but dun feel like throwing. hmm.. haiz. i hate cleaning actualli.. but i am always leaving my things everywhere.. haiz.. and my excuse is tat i am busy! hee...haiz. i also wan to be neat actualli, but just tat it's me ah.. haiz.. i am always trying to be neat, but not very successful.. i realli tried...:( how like this?? my table will be untidy soon... :( just like my room.. haiz.. haiz..

going to be busy this hols. will rush out all the things before my holiday.. must have a good start to 2008.. usually my luck is not so good during even years... haiz... haiz.. just hope all things go on smoothly... looking forward to the year, with plans in the mind and all... hmmm.. hmm.. hmm..

hope can pass my trial theory test on thurs so can book for basic theory. wan to get my licence! motivated to drive yang and maybe do some volunteer work? heee.. i want my licence! hmmm.. will be broke. haiz.

last paper

one more paper to go and i am done for this year... next year i'm taking onli one paper in may and in nov. then will have another one in may 09 and nov 09. then will i be done with UniSIM. i realli wanted to finish it fast, but i think there are many other things that need my attention and i should try to do everything with better planning. i'm going to learn driving. then i can drive jazzie. can drive yang home when his realli tired from work and sch. i can also drive to sch! heh heh.. that's the best part. but still a little apprehensive. maybe i have a bit of PTSD, post traumatic stress disorder (it's one of the units that i've picked to study for tonight's paper) ever since my skidding incident. still a bit scared when i'm in a car and the car goes so near to the one in front. send the heart into hyperdrive and fear sets in.. hopefully when i do start, it'll be ok.. going to sign up together with my colleagues. hope they remember to wait for me though... cos i'm away... they have been very nice... many remembered my exams and text me to wish me good luck. lucky they are helping to cover my duties too..for tat i will try my best not to fail tonight's paper. haiz..

yang's dad is in hospital. admitted this morning. hope the doc can find out wat is wrong and help rid the pain. haiz.
the hols are looming near.. going to finally move up next year to teach p2. scary. hmm.. shall aim to do at least one term of lesson plans before sch starts! haha.. shall do that in bangkok maybe? hee.. but i'll be busy shopping! hee hee..

had a great weekend.. met up with frens of ten years! oh my goodness, we are tat old. hee.. it was a good outing. cannot imagine that ten years ago we scaled mt ophir together and till today we are still in contact somehow. nice.. everyone has new directions in life and soon we'll be seeing the young ones! maybe in two years time, we'll be attending many weddings! but then again, about half are still single! hmm... work harder ah!



leaving home for sim soon. shall treat myself to some fast food. hee hee.. need to go orchard to check out something, shall make it very fast.

doing nothing much apart from sleeping. haha.. supposed to be studying... i'm so dead... so so dead. exam in a week's time but i have not applied leave and i have not even started studying... tsk tsk... very bad. ah... and got so many things to do...

2. glaze pieces and fire
3. buy cloth for deco
4. put up the deco
5. study and take exams
6. do action plans and finish all the things i owe before 10 dec..

going to bangkok with family from 10 to 14 dec, chalet from 14 to 16 dec then go to vietnam from 18 to 28 dec. woooo....

i so have to finish everything! ah... stress now.. go holiday also stress. haha... can bring laptop to do work while at bkk? hee.. think might have free time..

my nephew took part in a parent - child lookalike contest on sat at suntec. out of 79 parent and child, he and his dad was one of the six finalists! wooo.. he was tired, but he still smiled and did really well! hee.. he only won the consolation, but it was good. it was fun! hee... we were all very happy.. :)
