Singapore will host YOG 2010!

Yes! We did it! We are going to host the YOG! YES! I guessed all along that we will get to host the games. it probably sounds complacent but i think we are well-suited to host the games! woo hoo.. we may be small, but we are mighty! well well... think the games will be a great exciting event. steady ah singapore!

got the queue number.. not as good as we wanted it to be... and not as bad as i tot... 761 out of 10900 plus applicants. not bad ah. heee heee.. first time. now on the look out again.. was hoping we'll be one time lucky. heee.. well well..

can't wait to finish my lomo film! wooo... think this time i got pictures taken in better lighting. hope they turn out well. want to see the pictures of the birdies i took. exciting.

we actualli jumped for joy when we saw the announcement. haha... it felt good. :) like how we felt excited when they allowed the F1 to be held here and when the singaporean duo cliched the top spot for the amazing race. we do have lots to be proud of. i love singapore! :) (i'll love singapore more if they let me buy a flat tat i want... hee hee.)

went to the museum to see naked men and women yesterday. not too bad. hee hee.. it was fun! now looking forward to planting! must get to work... been lazy. hmmm...

woo hoo... my old lomo camera spoilt and i got a new one! now it's even cuter! hee hee.. yippee.... going to take pictures and hopefully this time it'll stay fine! i dug out an old crumpler which the lomo can fit in just so very nicely... lovely.. managed to find even though i was running late this morning. hee hee.. now it is well protected... thank you for getting me another one. it was a lovely surprise.. i was realli tired and sleepy last nite but my sleep kept getting interrupted. hee hee.. but it's all good. lucky i could wake up. hee...

managed to complete my essay and submit on time. phew. it was rather painful doing it actualli. haiz.. forgot how to write lit essays alreadi. a colleague just lent me a book so i do not need to buy it. happy. hee hee. i'll take good care of the books. :) shoulders are aching. back is aching. so many complaints.

do you feel the love?

it's a LOVE-ly day. passed by toen on my way back and saw many men carrying bouquets of flowers. to think that they went to the extent of buying the overly priced bouquets for their loved ones, yet the women do not hold on to the bouquets themselves, can be quite sad. Why? haha... This is not a case of sour grapes. i just find it funny. haha.. the flowers are so expensive... jewellery or branded bags would be better! heard from a colleague there's fifty percent sale at gold heart... a diamond ring sounds great. she bought one for herself and one for her mum... cool... i got a gift tat i got to choose... hee hee... it's still wrapped up realli nicely and i do not want to open it yet.... hee hee...

i am slowly saving up for coach bag. something tat is small for going out... can put the necessities...something like this...


my lit essay is due on monday. and i have not written a single word. stress id coming from work and studies. and many other aspects. just how tough can life get?? :(

i should be more productive with my work. i think i will go sleep then get up early to do work. dunno where to start. i still need to think of a gift for dear. hmmm.. tat's quite troubling...... hmmm...

made key chains for my colleagues. think i can make and sell for money? back up plan just in case i quit? haiz...


learning by reflections is the way to get things done. i shall reflect more frequently and improve on myself. maybe a new resolution? i have been neglecting my bicycle. :( no time, no opportunity to cycle to work. haiz.

it's still new year.. should try to be more optimistic... haiz... tough tough...

DRAINED..

seriously drained and tired. barely a few weeks ago i started the year with fervour, raring to go and thinking that i can make it thru the year without such a heavy workload. ok, maybe it's just me.i have been coming home and resting. giving the excuse that i worked hard in the day. well... i do think tat i have been putting in more effort into my work. i dun lose my temper as easily and i try my best!

hope dear will do well in his exams! all the best ah! :) now still have the fish biting me feeling. haha... woo.. so ticklish... cannot wait for the day when we are both free from studying.. think it's bad for our health to be studying. hmm.. sorry to trouble u ah dear. sorry sorry....

now looking at my guppies and the long kang fish. so far so good. think not enough oxygen. hope they dun die so fast. hee..

seems like 08 is not going on too well for my workplace. hope things will get better soon ah....
